Clinical Project Engineer

Purpose of the Role:
This Clinical Project Engineer position will involve overseeing clinical/custom project activities across the UK and Ireland. The role focuses on ensuring best-in-class service and installation of Lab Water Purification systems, guaranteeing customer satisfaction, and minimizing downtime. It's an exciting opportunity to progress within the medical devices or diagnostics field, with a succession plan to transition into more senior roles within 2-3 years.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain Lab Water Purification systems and equipment used in Clinical analysers, ensuring adherence to training, SOPs, ISO standards, and EHS rules.
- Collaborate with the Project team and Clinical Sales Specialists to create standardised solutions that meet customer requirements.
- Visit clinical sites across the UK, developing long-term solutions for clients.
- Work with the training team to enhance clinical training for the Field Service team.
- Participate in regular performance meetings, providing feedback on ongoing installations and technical issues.
- Work closely with in-house teams to ensure installations and maintenance meet required deadlines.
- Ensure data integrity and adherence to ISO 9001:15 guidance and SOPs.
- Regularly report to Management, escalating any issues that require support.
Qualifications & Skills (Minimal Requirements):
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- Experience: Solid technical experience in medical devices within a clinical environment (Clinical analysers, scanners, X-Ray).
- Project Management: Qualification in Project Management (Lean Six Sigma, PMP, or equivalent).
- Technical Competencies: Proficiency in technical drawing and project tools (AutoCAD, Visio, Microsoft Project).
- Medical Devices & IVD: Experience in installation and troubleshooting of medical devices or IVD analysers.

- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities.
- Clear and professional communication with both internal and external partners.

Compensation:
- Basic Salary: £45,000 - £50,000
