"CompEX" Electrician
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm (40 hours per week)
- This role is split between the Staffordshire-based workshop for build and client sites across the UK and Europe for installation.
- Up to £40,00 per annum depending on experience and qualifications
- 40 hours per week 8.00am-4.30pm
- Up to 75% spent travelling to client sites across the UK, staying away up to 4 nights per week, but need to be close enough to ST15 0QN to work in the workshop for multiple weeks
- Overtime available as well as a 15% uplift per hour for hours worked when staying away overnight
- Company Car not included but pool vans available when going to site
This position reports to:
- Workshop Manager
- Organogram
Electrician
Primary Duties:
- Follow schematics provided by Engineering department to assemble panels, install electrical components etc.
- Prepare built items for test
- Conduct installation work under supervision on client sites
- Work to company quality standards
- Always comply with Health & Safety regulations, company rules and regulations
Secondary Duties:
- Attend relevant courses to broaden your knowledge and skill set
Essential Skills:
- CompEX EX01 - 04
- NVQ in Electrical Installation
- 2391 Inspection and Test, City & Guilds Electrical qualifications or equivalent
- City & Guilds 18th Edition
- Previous experience in industrial installation
- Flexibility to travel and stay over throughout the UK whilst working on client sites
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work alone and in a team
- Full, clean driving licence and own transport
Desirable Skills:
- Previous gas industry experience
- Previous National Grid experience
- EUSR Gas Safety Passport
