We are searching for a motivated and skilled Electrician to join a growing Operations and Maintenance Solar PV Team based in Ingham, Bury St Edmunds

This is an exciting opportunity to join an international renewable energy organisation and play a pivotal role in supporting the Team Leader and providing suitability energy solutions.

Electrician Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and servicing for solar PV systems.
• Execute corrective maintenance, including fault finding, troubleshooting, and repair tasks on all solar PV systems, with a focus on mechanical and electrical diagnosis of Power Inverters.
• Proactively replace or repair components to prevent system downtime, ensuring optimal Solar Plant availability.
• Maintain comprehensive maintenance records using computer-based service reporting procedures
• Provide responsive out-of-hours and weekend support.
• Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with the Technical Manager to develop solutions.
• Deliver training sessions to enhance the technical knowledge of other employees.

Electrician Requirements:

• Experienced Electrician (Solar experienced desired but not essential)
• Familiarity with Power Inverters.
• Proficient in troubleshooting and fault-finding.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, email, and management/reporting systems. Ability to utilize diagnostic and troubleshooting tools.
• Flexible availability for overtime work on weekends, bank holidays, and short notice.
• UK Driving Licence
