About Us:
In this position, you will deliver and maintain software for one of our client's key products. Since the product is in its maintenance phase, your efforts will be directed towards incremental updates, focusing on improving robustness and adding new features.
The Role:
So, what will you be doing as an Embedded C++ Software Engineer?
The software is created using Ada and Rhapsody, and in this role, you will be responsible for architecting, designing, implementing, and testing missile subsystem software. Being part of a small team will give you broad visibility into all aspects of the product.
What are we looking for in our next Embedded C++ Software Engineer?
We seek a software engineer specialising in embedded software development for real-time systems who has:
- Extensive experience in developing embedded software using C/C++ (knowledge of ADA and Python is beneficial).
- Proficiency in model-based development, utilising UML or tools such as IBM's Rhapsody.
- A 'can do' and adaptable approach, with a passion for solving technical challenges that may go beyond software.
- A strong focus on code quality and the ability to engage in code and design reviews.
- Skills in developing maintainable and extensible code to adapt to changing requirements.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with various teams, including Systems Engineering, Electronics and Electrical, and Test and Validation.
