Fabricator

We are searching for an ambitious and skilled Fabricator to join a leading bespoke Sign Manufacturer

As a Fabricator you will you'll bring technical drawings to life, crafting sheet metal products with precision and skill.

Your tasks will span cutting, folding, bending, and a variety of assembly techniques such as welding, riveting, and bolting.

Job Role: Fabricator

Location: Ashford, Kent

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum + overtime

Overtime rate: 1.5 times standard hourly rate

Working Hours: Monday - Friday / 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Annual Leave Entitlement: 29 days including Bank Holidays

Fabricator Key Responsibilities:

• Follow instructions from department supervisor.
• Work autonomously or collaboratively as needed.
• Utilize a range of handheld and battery-powered tools.
• Ensure product quality aligns with company standards and meets customer deadlines.
• Maintain vigilance over quality standards and adhere to established processes.
• Uphold Health & Safety protocols for a secure work environment.
• Assist in the upkeep of department machinery and equipment.
• Handle lifting and manoeuvring of large items, requiring mobility and spatial awareness.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the department.

Fabricator Requirements:

• Experience in TIG welding, MIG welding, or CNC machinery operation.
• Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings.
• Safety is paramount, and proficiency with hand and power tools is essential.
• Sharp hand-eye coordination and the ability to handle heavy materials with ease.
• Experience in the signage indsutry is a plus!
