The Role:
So, what will you be doing as a Financial Accountant?
- Preparing and reviewing management reports, monthly accounts, and claims.
- Managing cash flow, balance sheet reconciliations, and fixed asset registers.
- Supporting the yearly audit process and compliance efforts.
- Maintaining Build Partner retention schedules and recharges.
- Liaising with budget holders for effective financial management.
- Leading finance projects and assisting with system improvements.
- Overseeing the Finance Assistant and handling supplier payments.
- Organising and attending stock takes as required.
- Making a significant impact by working closely with senior management and driving key initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
What are we looking for in our next Financial Accountant?
- ACCA/CIMA part-qualified or fully qualified.
- Proven experience in a Finance Department, including Management Accounts production.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills; Strong knowledge of Accounting, Financial Control, and Sage 200 Accounts.
- Experience in process management and implementing control procedures.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage your workload.
- Self-motivated team player with strong collaboration skills across departments.
- Ability to create and refine processes effectively.
