Role: MEP Commercial Manager
Location: West London
Offer: £85,000 to £95,000 + package

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a MEP Commercial Manager to join a high-profile rail infrastructure project in West London. Supporting the commercial leadership team, the MEP Commercial Manager will be overseeing a small commercial team and taking overall responsibility for the delivery of mechanical and electrical packages across the project.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee and prepare Monthly Reporting for MEP, working closely with the site teams
• Support commercial teams by managing change effectively, aiming to minimize disputes.
• Lead cost and performance reviews, ensuring the delivery of high-quality outputs.
• Drive development and tracking of MEP cost and performance reports, alongside subcontractor management.
• Ensure seamless Contract administration in line with the contractors principles, overseeing NCE closures.
• Coordinate monthly supplier AFPs, challenging and approving final outputs.
• Implement cost mitigation strategies for disallowed costs and oversee staff organogram alignment.
• Support the Cost Verification Framework, facilitating asset data collection for reviews.

Required qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Experience: Extensive post-graduate commercial experience in construction, with a strong track record in mechanical or electrical services.
• Skills: Financial and commercial acumen, strategic problem-solving, and a creative, solutions-oriented approach.
• Knowledge: Proficiency in legal and contractual processes and experience in change management.
• Attributes: Confident, influential communicator, adept at fostering collaborative solutions.
