Title : Planning Engineer / Delay Analyst
Location :Central Manchester (Hybrid)
Salary : £55-75,000 + package
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Planning Engineer / Delay Analyst to join an established construction consultancy based in Manchester. The Planning Engineer / Delay Analyst will play a vital role in providing planning and delay analysis support to a diverse range of commissions and projects within the UK construction industry. Responsibilities
- Assist the planning team in developing project schedules, incorporating all necessary activities, resources, and constraints.
- Collaborate closely with project stakeholders to gather necessary data and information for accurate project planning.
- Support in the preparation and maintenance of project schedules using planning software tools.
- Assist in monitoring project progress, tracking actual versus planned performance, and reporting on schedule variances.
- Contribute to the identification and analysis of project risks and develop strategies for risk mitigation.
- Assist in the preparation of progress reports and presentations, providing clear and concise information.
- Conduct site visits to gather relevant project information and gain practical construction industry experience.
Candidate
- Hold a construction related qualification - Degree / HND / HNC
- Basic understanding of construction planning principles and methodologies.
- Familiarity with planning software tools is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with project stakeholders and team members.
- Proactive and self-motivated approach, with a willingness to learn and contribute to the team.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
