Title: Project Controls Manager

Rate: £500-575 per day
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Controls Manager to join a leading international consultancy on a contract basis.
The Project Controls Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of brownfield projects from inception through to completion. They will be responsible for overseeing project schedules, budgets, risk management, and reporting. This is a key position within the team, providing critical support to project teams and clients to achieve project objectives efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.
- Manage project budgets, including cost forecasting, tracking, and variance analysis.
- Implement robust risk management processes, identifying and mitigating project risks.
- Lead project control efforts across the project life cycle, from planning through to execution and close-out.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
- Prepare regular reports and dashboards for clients and senior management, highlighting progress, risks, and key metrics.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Project Controls Manager, preferably within brownfield projects.
- Strong understanding of the brownfield project life cycle, including challenges and best practices.
- Proficiency in project management software, such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar tools.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Professional certification (e.g., PMP, AACE) is desirable but not essential.
