We're looking for a Safety Engineer to join our clients Defence Safety Engineering Team and you can be based across the South West from Surrey to Bristol.
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to shape the future of critical military vehicle projects and innovative technologies like electric drives, autonomous systems, and robotic solutions.
What You'll Do
As a Safety Engineer, your work will be out of the ordinary. You'll provide safety engineering expertise to both internal and external clients, helping to create robust Safety Cases that meet the ever-evolving demands of military and commercial projects.
You'll collaborate with diverse teams, leveraging your skills to support crucial acquisitions, mid-life improvements, and state-of-the-art soultions for the UK Army.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Safety Engineering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Develop safety solutions that are defensible and auditable, ensuring client satisfaction.
- Contribute to bids by providing accurate time estimates and technical input.
- Align work with company compliance standards and safety protocols.
- Identify and support potential business growth opportunities.
- Build strong technical networks with key stakeholders in Land Systems.
About You
- Experience: You have relevant experience in a Safety Engineering role, ideally within the UK defence industry.
- Education: You hold an engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
