I am recruiting for x2 SAP FICO Solution Architects with focus on FICO and who have led SAP ECC6 and transitions to S/4HANA projects.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role, requiring deep SAP knowledge and experience managing large, complex programs in high-pressure environments.

Seen as a trusted advisor to global customers, the role will lead and own requirements for SAP FICO system architecture during projects, while also requiring expertise in SAP PS (Project System). Experience in SAP EPPM (Enterprise Portfolio and Project Management) will be considered a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

Design Management / Key Design Decisions

• Lead/support the assessment and review of architectural decisions in line with programme and governance processes.
• Orchestrate across Process, Data, Applications, and Integration domains to ensure all elements of Design and Build are in sync and aligned to Target Business Architecture.
• Be a subject matter expert for SAP Finance and Controlling (FICO) and SAP Project System (PS) modules, advising on best practices, configuration, and system capabilities, including the impact of complex system changes.
• Experience in SAP EPPM will be an added advantage.
• Support, coach, and develop colleagues within the business as a senior leader in the organization.

Architectural Governance

• Architect and deliver scalable, high-performance SAP solutions for greenfield and brownfield implementation projects.
• Lead technical strategy for SAP ECC6 transformation programs, with a focus on migration to S/4HANA and cloud-based environments.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and functional teams to align technical architecture with strategic objectives.
• Manage data migration, integration, and system landscape design, ensuring robust and reliable solutions.
• Stay current with SAP innovations and best practices, applying them to improve client outcomes and project efficiency.
• Develop a strong understanding of client operations and suggest improvements through SAP FICO and SAP PS solutions.
• Advise on SAP configuration within the SAP FICO and PS modules and explain the impact of changes on solutions and business processes.
• Complete solution testing, issue resolution, configuration, and provide go-live support to customers.
• Attend and contribute to customer workshops and requirement gathering sessions.
• Contribute to the production and completion of blueprint documentation.
• Independently create well-founded and accurate functional specifications.

Deliverables

• Design, build, and implement SAP FICO and SAP PS customer solutions.
• Assist in the creation of architectural deliverables, such as interim and to-be process and technical architecture, solution blueprints, and other required documents.
• Support teams in reviewing WRICEF requests and upholding the Fit-to-Standard principles of the programme, ensuring architectural alignment and minimal impact on the existing system estate.

Must Have:

• SAP FICO
• Previous experience for leading SAP ECC6 transformation programs, with a focus on migration to S/4HANA and cloud based environments.
• SAP PS (Project System). Experience in SAP EPPM (Enterprise Portfolio and Project Management) will be considered a significant advantage.
