An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Section Engineer to join a leading main contractor working across a wide range of civil engineering projects in Central and Greater Manchester. The Section Engineer will play a key role on the project, overseeing the delivery of projects that include highways improvements, city centre regeneration's, bridge replacements, tunnels and more.
As a Section Engineer with one of the UK's leading main contractors, your duties will include:
- Leading and developing a team of engineers throughout each stage of the project
- Overseeing complex programmes of work on large heavy civil engineering and infrastructure projects
- Measuring site productivity
- Ensuring a keen focus on health & safety across the project at each stage
- Maintaining the highest levels and ensuring designs are delivered to the specification
- Supporting the QS's and PM's with the commercial delivery of the project
- Sharing your experience and expertise with the wider site team
The successful Section Engineer will be given an opportunity to work on large, complex projects that will shape the towns and cities across the North West for a generation.
