Location: Surrey (Hybrid - 3 days on site / 2 days remote)
Salary: £60-78,000 + benefits package
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Planning Engineer to join an exciting main contractor on a major framework offering long-term secured work in the region.
The Senior Planning Engineer will become a vital part of an established and experience team, leading the planning function for a variety of complex projects within the major framework. The Senior Planning Engineer will utilize their expertise to ensure seamless project execution, from pre-construction through to completion, all while leveraging the latest planning tools and technologies.

Duties
- Develop and manage project schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring accuracy and efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide detailed planning and scheduling support across a diverse portfolio of live schemes within the framework.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and key stakeholders to align project timelines and objectives.
- Monitor project performance, report progress, and provide accurate forecasts and variance analysis.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, promoting best practices in project planning and controls.
Candidate
- Proven experience as a Planning Engineer within the construction industry, ideally with exposure to large frameworks or major infrastructure projects.
- Expertise in Primavera P6 is essential.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies and project delivery processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
- A degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
