The Role:
So, what will you be doing as a Systems Modelling Engineer?
- Develop and maintain models using MATLAB and Simulink with model-based design techniques.
- Contribute to the development of complex models, including target scenarios, hardware representations, and processor algorithms.
- Design, implement, and optimise algorithms within the model.
- Generate and verify auto-code for software algorithms derived from the model.
- Conduct performance assessments and analysis.
- Develop simplified representations of the product model for integration into the missile model.
- Optionally, update and maintain legacy models in Statemate.
- Document model modifications, create test vectors, and ensure compliance with project requirements.
What are we looking for in our next Systems Modelling Engineer?
- Proficiency in MATLAB and Simulink.
- Experience in modelling for auto-coding.
- Strong algorithm development capabilities.
- Ability to translate algorithms into functional Simulink models.
- Strong technical report writing skills.
- Experience in delivering models for complex systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Desirable:
- Familiarity with Radar and Control Systems.
- Knowledge of Digital Signal Processing.
- RF engineering experience.
