My client, an award-winning contractor is currently recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding team. Operating across the infrastructure industry they are an end-to-end specialist within their sector.
The ideal candidate will have experience across a variety of major civils/highways projects. A degree in a related field is preferred, although qualification through experience could be considered.
They are committed to supporting the growth and development of the team members and offer opportunities for career advancement within the business. The successful candidate will work with an established team who provide highest standards in their work.

Requirements
- Experience within a similar role in a civils/infrastructure environment
- Experience working on highways projects or similar
- Relevant degree or similar
- UK construction experience
- NEC suite of contracts knowledge
- Strong commercial acumen
- Able to remeasure accounts on all trades
- Able to produce a bill of quantities from drawings (regardless of the method of measurement)
- Excellent negotiation skills with the supply chain and / or external clients to ensure the business maximises profit throughout
- Excellent level of numeracy and verbal communication skills
