The Role:
So, what will you be doing as a Systems Engineer?
- Deliver TRS (Technical Requirement Specifications), Verification, and Certification documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide materials and technical input for design reviews.
- Conduct system trade studies and deliver detailed analysis and reports.
What are we looking for in our next Systems Engineer?
- Strong background in System Design Engineering with the ability to initiate, undertake, and drive system trade studies and development activities.
- Proven experience in developing complex systems, ideally within the defence sector.
- Exceptional communication skills to articulate architectures and ideas across all levels, including customers.
- Experience in translating user requirements into technical specifications, collaborating with design authorities to meet constraints and needs.
- Ability to support functional design by flowing requirements through system, sub-system, and equipment levels.
- Proficiency in presenting technical information to customers in a clear and understandable way.
- A collaborative mindset to foster strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- A passion for mentoring and developing team members, contributing to the growth of the Systems Design team.
- Proficiency in system architecting tools such as DOORS/DOORS NG and Rhapsody.
- Knowledge or experience in lasers or maritime system integration.
